WHAT WILL WE LEARN?

In this teacher led activity, students learn about the history and science of hot air balloons and rockets through a slide presentation and video clips. Afterwards, students create and test their own balloon powered rocket.

Please note: there will be no museum employees or volunteers leading this program. We will provide you with the lesson plan ahead of time, and you will lead it by yourself. Materials to make the balloon powered rocket will be provided.
