BRIAN MCFADYEN

Joined the Board of Directors in 2019.

Brian McFadyen has volunteered at the Museum for over 4 years prior to joining the board, primarily with the facilities and events group and works closely with the team to move aircraft and displays, set up and tear down for special events.  By volunteering at the museum Brian learned more about the mission of the The Hangar Flight Museum which he relates to.  He decided to strengthen this backing by applying to the board to help further provide support to the Museum to showcase aviation and history related to Calgary, Alberta and Western Canada heritage.

Brian is a professional engineer with a major energy company focusing on pipelines and green energy.  Brian currently lives in Calgary, AB, and has dabbled in in efforts to attain a private pilot license including flying solo but family and work commitments have made that challenging.
